"This is the legendary issue 372 of
Captain SuperfluousTM!"
"So?"
"This is the one where Captain SuperfluousTM
comes back to life after being killed by ElyminatorTM,
who used to be the servant of Empress K'HmTM
of the J'Kai EmpireTM, until his mind was
taken over by Professor ZTM, Evil Mind-Master
of the 7th GalaxyTM. Professor ZTM
used to be one of the good guys, but he went insane when his sidekick Particle
BoyTM was vaporised by Vaporising ManTM,
who turned out to be the twisted half-brother of AbzorboTM,
the husband of Professor ZTM's other sidekick
Twilight AvengerTM - who is actually a
genetic clone of Captain SuperfluousTM's
cousin Doris PostlethwaiteTM, who used
to be Aluminium GirlTM until she retired
after the Universe WarTM mini-series,
when Galaxor the Energy BeingTM tried to
destroy Q-SpaceTM by utilising the mystical
energies of the Shard of DarknessTM, a
fragment of the Lost Crystal of P'nyngTM.
He was only defeated by the combined efforts of Captain SuperfluousTM;
Mister ImpregnibleTM; Professor Z's long-lost
twin brother Professor YTM (who turned
up in Q-SpaceTM with amnesia and an extra
head); Tangent, the Asymptotic ManTM; the
Earth Defence LeagueTM; the Legion of Super-Powered
IndividualsTM (except for Doctor BizarreTM,
whose powers had been transferred to DestructoTM
in a freak nuclear accident - this was just before he got them back); and
DollopTM, bastard offspring of AbzorboTM
and Empress K'HmTM - only not our Empress
K'HmTM, this was an Empress K'HmTM
from a parallel timeline who was sucked through the dimensional vortex
caused by Universor the Other Energy BeingTM
battling OsirisTM and SutekhTM
on the astral plane. While all the others were fighting GalaxorTM,
DollopTM used his dimension-jumping abilities
to rescue Doctor WeirdTM from the Crepuscular
ZoneTM, and in return Doctor WeirdTM
had to find the rest of the Crystal of P'nyngTM
for him. But Doctor WeirdTM tricked him,
and gave him the Crystal of T'zerTM instead,
keeping the Crystal of P'nyngTM for himself.
So when DollopTM tried using the Crystal
on GalaxorTM, instead of destroying him
it catapulted him into the Dreamspace ContinuumTM,
where Humongor, Power-Shah of Space and TimeTM,
had been imprisoned since the Fall of the GodsTM
crossover. So GalaxorTM absorbs HumongorTM's
powers, and becomes powerful enough to escape back out of DreamspaceTM.
Then he comes after Superfluous ManTM,
believing his imprisonment to be his fault, because he was put in there
by LightshadeTM, Superfluous ManTM's
mother."
